About Dcoinc.net

Dcoinc.net is currently a personal website where I post artworks, comics, videos and other stuff that I have created. Even though the name might imply that I run some sort of business, I actually do not. Well at least not yet. I do plan on running some sort of studio but due to my limited budget and lack of experience, that is just a dream.

Everything on this site is created by me unless stated otherwise.

About the Creator.

My name is Dakota Jones-Wyatt. I am an 19 year old male who loves to draw and is fascinated by many things such as art, animation (2D, 3D, stop-motion, etc.), technology, and programming. I enjoy making things that are funny and cool. Since I do not believe in censorship, some of my work will contain a fair amount of strong language and violence. If it weren't for my hosting and Google breathing down my neck, my stuff would probably be a lot worse. That doesn't mean everything I produce is inappropriate, just some of it.

While not a gamer per se, I do occasionally play video games and I one day hope to make my own.

As for my influences, I have quite a few. Believe it or not, anime has a large influence on my art. While I don't always draw in a manga or anime style (As of when this was written, only one artwork posted had a anime-ish style and Google forced me to remove it), it does show a bit in some of my work. Nowadays I don't watch a lot of anime. The last one I saw was "Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt" and that barely counts.

The show "Ed, Edd n Eddy" was one of those shows that got me into animation because the way the characters moved was really fluid and dynamic. Ironically, my animations are more stiff and less goofy and it ends up looking more like the later seasons of "Family Guy" or "The Simpsons".
"Beavis and Butt-head" was another one of my animation inspirations.

Internet shows also had an influence on me. People like Edd Gould (Eddsworld), Harry Partridge (HappyHarry, HarryPartridge on YouTube) and Adam Philips (Chluaid). Those guys show that you don't need a large studio to produce something awesome.

As for my comic influence, I'm not really sure. I didn't read a lot of comics when I was young. Hell, even now I rarely read comics. I read a few webcomics though. If anything, what got me into making comic would have to be between the few mangas I've read and the Graphic novel "Captain Underpants".

Drawing and animation isn't the only thing I do. I have a moderate skill in programming. Mostly web languages like PHP, and Javascript but I am slowly learning how to code in C# for the Unity engine. I'm also dabbling in CGI. Most of my models are horrid though but I'll improve.

I try to draw whenever I can. Even though I draw a lot, it doesn't mean this site gets updated daily. Unfortunately some of the drawings I make are either not good enough to be posted, too vulgar for my hosting and my advertisers to handle or it's for a project that is not ready to be announced. I will be sure to start posting more.

In case you are wondering, I will not generally accept request for art unless it really intrigues me. I prefer to draw what I want to draw. If you want me to draw something for you I suppose I'd be willing to make a picture or short comic if the price is right. Anything animated will cost more.

I think that is all you need to know for now.
